Descendant of Jonathan Hoar, bargemaster (list of voters 1774 DP983) from 1771, who had the \u2018Blue Boar\u2019 (later the \u2018Row Barge\u2019) near the<br>house and malthouse already mentioned and later known as \u2018St Lucians\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Born in 1826 in Wallingford, died in Q4 1900.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1840, Thomas Mansell takes John H. as a Laud apprentice. This <a href=\"https:\/\/discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk\/details\/r\/fbb3dc85-3d7b-417d-bdee-210a6ea552a2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">charity for apprentices<\/a> was established by <a href=\"https:\/\/archiveshub.jisc.ac.uk\/search\/archives\/0713ba36-bed6-3dae-bd2d-d38f733d983e?component=d4ac70b6-3f4d-3e80-bf3e-9cc71e58c9f2\">Archbishop Laud\u2019s will<\/a>, 1644.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1846, John H. lived in Hart Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Q2 1850 married <strong>Alice M. Ashley<\/strong>, born in Benson in 1830. She is widowed in 1900.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>William Hoar Harvey<\/strong>, born on 3 March 1851 in Wallingford,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Edwin Francis Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;born 1855<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The family moved to 11 Thames Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>John Hoar Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;(junior), born in 1856 in Wallingford, in Q4 1881 married in Wallingford. moved to croft Terrace in 1883.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ellen Catherine Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;born in 1858.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alfred Albert Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;born in Wallingford in 1860.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1877, Harry Harris takes Alfred A. as a Laud apprentice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alice Margaret Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;born in 1862<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Letitia Emily Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;born in 1863<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Joseph Ashley Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;born in 1865<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Harriet Lavinia Harvey<\/strong>, born in Wallingford in 1867, was a Laud maid in 1895.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mary Amelia Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;born in 1869<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tom Harry Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;born in 1871<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Seymour A. Harvey<\/strong>\u00a0born in 1874 married Ellen. They lived at 4 Sayer-Milward Terrace from 1935.
